The
scientific and technological innovation achievement exhibition of the 13th Five-Year Plan was held in Beijing. The theme of this exhibition is
"innovation-driven development towards a Technology Powers". The
exhibition consists of 12 sections with a total of 1740 exhibited items, focusing
on a number of major landmark scientific and technological achievements during
the 13th Five-Year Plan. Among them, some major scientific research
achievements and innovative technologies of "water pollution control and
treatment projects" appeared in the exhibition, highlighting the
remarkable achievements in scientific and technological innovation and
development in the field of water environment during the 13th Five-Year
Plan.
In the exhibition section of water treatment projects, as the only research achievement of underground WWTP in the 13th Five-Year Plan, " Underground WWTP Construction and Demonstration of Ecological Complex" appeared at the venue. This technology is independently developed by China Water Environment Group（CWEG）, and has the core advantages of "integration of plant, network and river, integration of water and terrestrial resources, and integration of carbon and energy ". It can realize the organic compound of sewage recycling and green energy supply, popular science education, ecological landscape and other functions, greatly improve the land utilization efficiency, and further transform the traditional WWTP into a resource center, energy center, public service supply center and digital management center. It has been carried out in 21 provinces and cities, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guiyang and Dali, solving the technical problems of urban water pollution control and water environment treatment and becoming a sewage treatment model suitable for China's national condition.
